This family is from CA. U.S. They bought a vacation home in November. They are trying to turn it into a holiday let. Osaka will temporarily stop taking applications to open a type of private short-term rental citywide, as well as make it easier to revoke certifications for existing facilities and ramp up its response to noise and garbage complaints.
The deadline is 5/29/26. They still can meet the deadline. The renovation is expected to be done at the end of January.
Remember you still can operate 180 days a year even after 5/29/26.
