The best way to move to Japan

One of the easiest way to move to Japan is to be an English teacher. Japan is one of the lowest English proficiency in the world. It’s sough after for teaching job.

Unfortunately the salary could be as low as 200,000 JPY(1,500 USD) after taxes. It’s not easy to get by with that pay. Even though the cost of living in Japan is cheaper than most western countries it’s still low. Unless you teach at a college as a professor , private school or international school it’s not a respectable job in a Japanese society. Many English teachers have 2 or 3 jobs to make ends meet. I still have a lot of respects for educators.

IT industry offers the best work life balance and pay for even weebs. You are never too old to be an IT engineer in Japan. There is serious shortage of IT engineer here in Japan. Moreover, the language barrier doesn't matter in this field. Most IT languages are only English. The Japanese government gives out the visa to those who are qualified without criminal background in a mother country. Japan and a lot of countries are well connected regarding the visa status. They share the info of criminal background, resume, education history of the applicants.

As a lot of IT workers work at home you don't have to stay longer in the office after you punch out. Service zangyo is a serious problem in Japan. Once a week or something they show up in the office physically for the meeting.

I took care of some American IT workers to find the property in Osaka. None of them studied engineering at college. They switched their careers in their 30s, 40s even 50s.  They make a decent money in Japan.
