Osaka, Japan looks to Filipino workers for the labor crisis. Because of the aging population, Osaka Japan is looking to address a major labor shortage by recruiting tens of thousands of Filipino.
The gate was opened for Vietnamese in 2010 technically but the country’s economy is booming now so the object is the Philippine now.
In the field of construction, factory, health care and even truck driver ,so many non-Japanese people work in these fields.
Osaka authorities say they are hoping to see pre pandemic level Vietnamese workers in the coming months.
Osaka’s turn toward Filipino workers reflects the warming relationship between Japan and Philippine. Filipino people are very nice. I like them.
They work as a nursing home care worker. Good to know they speak English. They are hard working people.
He works as a truck driver in Osaka. He passed the driving test. The Japanese government is trying to let them take a driving test in their languages, English, Chinese, Vietnamese and Tagalog etc...
Most of them rent a property, house or condo.
Some Japanese landlords are hesitate to rent out to these people.
This is a niche market. Immigrants are less likely to fail to pay the rent, if anything they commit way lower crime than Japanese. A lot of Japanese misunderstand it. As I mentioned they are hard working people, I think more than Japanese. Good to face a different culture as well.
Some years later they will be eligible to take out a housing loan. I hope I can help them to find a property and settle down in Japan.
